Are you an outgoing, energetic individual who enjoys working out, socializing and has a passion for providing excellent customer service? Rickshaw Collective is seeking aspiring individuals to join our team in Halifax, NS. This is a great opportunity for a flexible side job for extra income. Be your own boss and work your own hours. If you are active and fit with the right charismatic personality, you will excel as a Rickshaw Runner. Get paid very well ($30 – $60+/hour) to work out and have fun! This job provides high satisfaction as you create memorable experiences and every passenger you take is thrilled by the experience!

Please note this is a very unique job that is highly rewarding for a person with the right physical fitness, personality and determination. Not everyone is fit for this job.

Work when you want, this job is flexible and casual.

Be an entrepreneur and your own boss. You represent yourself and there’s no supervisor looking over your shoulder.

Get paid well and immediately ($30 – $60+/hour).

Responsibilities

Operate a rickshaw to transport passengers within designated areas of Halifax.
Provide safe and fun transportation services to customers, ensuring an exciting and enjoyable ride.
Go above and beyond to provide entertainment and excellent customer service. Interact with the passengers, make jokes, play music and create conversation to elevate the mood.
Run and do tricks to create a thrilling ride.
Socialize, and communicate effectively with passengers, offering information about local attractions, landmarks, and events.
Collect fares and process payments accurately.

Requirements

The most important requirements are to be physically fit, charismatic, social and responsible when it comes to safety.
Speak clear and fluent English.
Live in Halifax Regional Municipality and have a reliable means of transportation.
Physical fitness and ability to run a rickshaw for extended periods (from 4 - 8 hours).
Excellent customer service skills with a confident, friendly and approachable demeanor.
Familiarity with Halifax's streets, bars, landmarks, and tourist destinations.
Ability to work flexible hours.
Reliable and responsive in communication.

Onboarding

Selected applicants will be called for a telephone interview. If we decide to proceed, you will come out for training and two trial nights.

The first two nights of running rickshaws are trial nights to see if you are a good fit and this is a job you enjoy.
